Terms of service
Rules for using CollabKit’s media kit platform, hosted pages, and free creator tools.
Last updated: March 31, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, applications, and services offered by CollabKit (“CollabKit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including our influencer media kit builder, hosted public media kit pages, dashboard, and free tools (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who may use the Service
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and meet any minimum age required by applicable law (typically at least 13 in the U.S., with additional protections where higher ages apply). If you use the Service on behalf of a company or agency, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. What CollabKit provides
CollabKit helps creators build, host, and share professional media kits for brand partnerships. The Service may include:
- A dashboard to edit your media kit, portfolio, pricing, and related profile content
- Connections to third-party social platforms (for example TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube) to display metrics and context on your kit
- Public pages (for example at collabkit.me/p/…) that visitors, including brands, can view
- Optional features such as brand inquiry forms, verified stats workflows, subscriptions, and free calculators or generators on our website
We may add, change, or retire features over time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
3. Accounts, demos, and sign-in
You may interact with the Service anonymously or through limited demos in some flows. Full account features may require registration and authentication (for example via Google OAuth or other methods we support). You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Your content and license to us
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service, including text, images, portfolio items, pricing, and other materials you add to your media kit (“Your Content”). You grant CollabKit a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute Your Content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service - including showing Your Content on your public media kit page and delivering it to visitors you choose to expose (for example via a public link or an enabled inquiry form).
You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that Your Content does not violate law or third-party rights. We may remove or restrict content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or creates risk for users or CollabKit.
5. Social platforms and third-party data
When you connect or reference social accounts, you also agree to the applicable platform’s terms and policies. CollabKit is not endorsed by those platforms. Metrics and profile information may be obtained through integrations, scraping, or other technical means permitted by law and platform rules; availability and accuracy depend on third parties and may change without notice. You are responsible for how you describe your audience and performance in Your Content.
6. Brand inquiries and visitors to your page
If you enable a brand inquiry or similar contact feature, visitors may submit information (such as name, email, and message) to reach you. You are responsible for your relationship with those visitors, how you use their submissions, and compliance with laws that apply to you (including marketing and privacy laws). CollabKit acts as a technology provider to deliver those messages and is not a party to your deals with brands.
7. AI-assisted features
Some parts of the Service may use machine learning or AI to suggest text, summaries, hashtags, or similar outputs. AI-generated suggestions may be inaccurate or inappropriate. You should review and edit anything before publishing or sending. CollabKit does not warrant AI outputs and is not liable for reliance on them.
8. Subscriptions, billing, and plans
Paid plans, if offered, are billed through our payment processor (currently Stripe) on the terms presented at checkout. Subscriptions may renew automatically until you cancel using the billing tools we provide (including the customer billing portal where available). Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase. We may change prices or plan features with reasonable notice. Starter plan tiers and free tools are offered at our discretion and may have usage or feature limits.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. For example, you must not: break the law; infringe intellectual property or privacy rights; distribute malware; attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other users’ accounts; scrape or overload the Service in a way that harms stability; send spam or deceptive inquiries; impersonate others; or use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm people. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
10. Intellectual property
Aside from Your Content, the Service, including software, branding, and documentation, is owned by CollabKit or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights these Terms grant, no rights are transferred to you.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, CollabKit disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes (such as securing brand deals), accuracy of third-party or AI-derived data, or that the Service will meet every creator’s needs.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CollabKit and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid CollabKit for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50), except where liability cannot be limited by law.
13. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify CollabKit against third-party claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of others’ rights.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if we must comply with law, or if we discontinue the Service or your plan. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including licenses granted to us for reasonable wind-down, disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, and dispute terms) will survive termination.
15. Changes
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms and update the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice when reasonable (for example by email or an in-product notice). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CollabKit primarily operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply. Disputes should first be addressed by contacting [email protected]. Where permitted, exclusive venue for disputes will be the courts located in that same jurisdiction.
17. Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms presented at purchase, are the entire agreement between you and CollabKit regarding the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
